Bit late to the party this week, but this week has been hectic to say the least!
This summer, though, was definitely one for happy memories. Chief amongst these was the trip to Disneyland Paris.
We planned, drove, planned, read, planned, consulted oracles, made sacrifices to the gods… Y’know, everything a normal family of 7 does when they’re going on holiday.
Seeing the magic words written above the entrance to the park on day 1 was truly magical. It’s like none of it had been real until you saw “Disneyland Paris” in massive letters over the park entrance. After that, the Disney magic happened.
This is my wonderful wife and eldest 2 straight off the Rock-n-Roller Coaster in Walt Disney Studios!
And this, my eldest son in front of the Jules Verne memorial in Discoveryland (home to Space Mountain, Star Tours, the really wonderful Nautilus and the family favourite: Buzz Lightyear’s Laser Blast).
The inscription reads (in English):
Everything that is within the limits of the possible must and will be completed
I wasn’t sure about Disney and all that it entailed before we went. I’m now convinced. Almost. Might need another trip just to make sure…
