I spent a lot of time on World Photography Day wondering what to photograph, contemplated all manner of things, even thought of getting some 35mm film into my lovely Holga and taking some full-bleed photos. However, come the end of the day, I’d taken nothing. Not a single photo.
Or so I thought.
Hooking my phone up to the computer just now I found a series of images I didn’t recognise. Didn’t remember taking any of them, had to blow them up to find out what they were.
So I present Number One in my World Photography Day series. Can you guess what it is?

OOOh I really don’t know what it is! It looks like a cloth of some sort, like a thick matting?!
Err, no?
Is it the inside of your pocket?
Apparently so. The camera took about 20 of these, all with different effects applied!
I love these textural type photographs, this one has the look of an old manuscript that you can’t see the writting on but I think it could possibly be a peice of fabric – inside of a pocket?
Yep, inside of pocket. Guess who forgot to lock phone before putting it away. Muppet.
Very original take (no pun intended) on the theme.
Like it
I tried! I honestly tried to take some good photos but it was just one of those days where nothing was going to work the way I wanted it to.
So I’m the only one who couldn’t guess. Pah, I’m rubbish!
Haha! I always take photos of my shoe or the ground. That’s the best thing about digital cameras I guess.
